Easton first JR Sprint race of the season as a 2 day show at Adobe Speedway for the Dan Steffy Memorial.
Cambensy has race 3 other JR sprint races in 2023 driving for tge Klein CRS with the most recent coming in May. This would be the first outing in the D1 Performance chassis JRX and first time back on dirt in almost a year.
Night 1 the team would struggle with speed and would come home 8th out of 15 cars.
Night 2 the team would get help from Driven Performance to get some more speed and Easton more comfortable. He would go out and finish 3rd in his heat lining him up in 6th for the feature.
Easton would get to 3rd and run there till the last lap where he wheel hopped a lap car slipping back to 4th. This was a great weekend on the track and the team gained speed each time out.
